Dr Bayo Isa is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of French, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, since 2013. He obtained his B.A., M.A. and PhD in French Language in the same department where he currently teaches French as a foreign language. He’s also the Programme Coordinator, Centre for Cultural Studies and Creative Arts. His research interests are in applied linguistics, sociolinguistics, language policies, language planning, French as a foreign language education, and French for specific purposes. He has published some journals articles and book chapters on all areas of his research interests in reputable outlets.
